Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Amendments
The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing for the purpose of recieving input and suggestions from the general public concerning the adoption of proposed amendments to the Jones County Zoning and Subdvision ordinances.
The hearing will be held in the Board Room of the Jones County Courthouse, Anamosa, Iowa, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
Copies of the proposed amendments are available from the Jones County Land Use Office in the basement of the courthouse. Click here to view the proposed ordinance amendments.

Jones County Dust Control Self Application Permit - Second Application Deadline July 2nd. Allows the applicant to treat a specified section of road with one of the three approved dust control products: calcium chloride, magnesium chloride or lignon sulphonate. To download the application click here and fill out all the information above the applicant signature line. Sign the permit application and return it to the Jones County Engineer's Office at P.O. Box 368, Anamosa, IA 52205. In accepting this permit, the permit holder agrees not to treat the road surface until having received approval from the Jones County Engineer's office. The second application deadline is July 2, 2009. After this date there will be a $10.00 late filling fee.

The medication needed to help these children can be very expensive. Jones County Community Services has received a limited amount of funding to help families in need to pay for their medication.
