Application for Access
This permit is for alteration of an existing access and construction of a new access located on the Secondary Road System. Please download this file and fill out all information above the applicant signature line. Be sure to include a telephone number where you can be reached during the daytime hours. If possible, please flag location of new access. Sign permit and mail it to the Engineer’s Office at P.O. Box 368, Anamosa, IA 52205. We will review the location of the access for proper sight distance and other criteria and notify you as to whether or not the application is approved. Application for Alteration of Right of Way
This permit is for alteration of public right of way on the Secondary Road System. Please download this file and fill out all information above the applicant signature line. Be sure to include a telephone number where you can be reached during the daytime hours. If possible, please flag the location of the work area. Sign permit and mail it to the Engineer’s Office at P.O. Box 368, Anamosa, IA 52205. We will review the location and scope of work to be completed and notify you as to whether or not the application is approved. Utility Permit
This permit is a requirement for any utility placed on, under, or along Jones County's Secondary Road system. Includes provisions for the inspection and regulation of utility line installations. Please download this file and fill out all information above the applicant signature line. Be sure to include a telephone number where you can be reached during the daytime hours. If possible, please flag the location of the work area. Sign permit and mail it to the Engineer’s Office at P.O. Box 368, Anamosa, IA 52205. We will review the location and scope of work to be completed and notify you as to whether or not the permit is approved. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Engineer’s Office.
Permit for Self Application of Dust Control
This permit allows the applicant to treat the specified section of road with one of the four approved dust control products - calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, lignon sulphonate or soybean oil. Please download this form and fill out all the information above the applicant signature line. Sign the permit and return it to the Jones County Engineer's Office at P.O. Box 368,
Anamosa, IA 52205. In accepting this permit, the permit holder agrees not to treat the road surface until having received approval from the Jones County Engineer's office.
Following the April 27, 2012 deadline there is a $10.00 late filing fee.
