In order to promote wildlife habitat development, conservation practices,  and native landscape reconstruction

on private land the Jones County Conservation Board has two tree planters available for rent by private landowners.

Tree planters available include a single seat and a tandem seat.  Each requires a three point hitch.

In order to promote wildlife habitat development, conservation practices, and native landscape reconstruction

on private land the Jones County Conservation Board has two Truax Native No-Till  Drills available for native

grass and wildlife habitat plantings.

Both drills require a pin hitch.  The six foot drill has a planting width of 6 feet.  The 12 foot drill has a planting width of

10 feet.  Both have cool and warm season boxes.  Each must be calibrated for the type of seed being planted.
