What we do:
The Veteran Affairs office assists
Veterans in filing benefit claims for Federal benefits. We are a point of reference for Veterans in need of information, resources or in filing for county or state Veteran Assistance.
Reference Library:
The JCVA houses a small library of reference information for Veterans and their families for the purpose of obtaining information on PTSD, hearing loss, war history, etc... These items can be lent out for a limited time at no charge.

An important message from the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs:
Attention Veterans!
FRAUD WARNING!
Veterans around the country are reporting that they are getting calls from a company identifying itself as the “Patient Care Group.”
This company is claiming that VA prescriptions are now being dispensed through them and that if veterans want to continue to properly receive their medications, they must provide a credit card number.
VA has NOT changed the process of receiving and dispensing prescriptions.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER
TO ANYONE WHO CALLS YOU!
Please contact your local VA Medical Center if you have questions about VA prescriptions or services.
